Region Choirs Guidelines (updated 7/6/2008)

1. If the school is located within the region of the clinic, directors may bring up to 16 vocalists in balanced quartets. If the director comes from outside the region they may bring 8 vocalists in balanced quartets. Upon site chairperson decision, directors may be contacted and allowed to bring additional vocalists in balanced quartets.
2. Students must be active members of the school choral program.
3. The fee for registration is $10.00 per student and all fees are to be sent to Dale Roth by:
   Lower and Upper Region: January 7, 2009
   Central Region: January 14, 2009
4. Directors may attend any or all regions.

1. Upon notification of acceptance, teachers will inform students of their selection and make appropriate arrangements. TEACHERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE MUSIC BY THEIR STUDENTS PRIOR TO THE WEEKEND. STUDENTS MUST BE ABLE TO SING THE MUSIC AND MATCH PITCH.
2. Registration will be held at 6:30 on Thursday evening with the rehearsal following. Rehearsals will continue through Friday followed by a concert Friday evening at 7:00 P.M.
3. Members of the Region Choirs are to follow the All-State Chorus concert dress. Teachers may chose to use their school concert attire.
4. Students should be chaperoned at all times. Appropriate attentive behavior will be expected at all times.
5. All-State rules apply for the weekend!!
6. All students who attend rehearsals must participate in the concert. Emergency situations will be excused.
